Wait! That’s Not What I Signed Up For!

When I was a young girl, my dreams and expectations were magical and full of grandeur.

During the lazy days of summer before electronics and cell phones, I relished the simplest of moments.

Why Being SHY is a Gift and Not a Curse

Being an Introvert is not a bad thing.

Those who overlook Introverts are missing out!

Not at all shyI’m an extrovert/introvert.  I get a lot of energy by being around people and talking to them. I love speaking, and teaching, and being the center of attention, BUT … I also love seclusion and quiet. I am comfortable being in the spotlight or being behind the scenes. What matters most to me is what people are receiving.

Reflections of You

You’ve heard it said that “you are the sum total of the five people you spend the most time with.”

What is also true is that you are the reflection of what you take in as nourishment. Be it the food that you eat or the TV that you watch, or the music you listen to… or the gossip that you give attention to.

Reflected TreeThere is a reason why pain exists. Pain signals that there is a problem that needs attending to. Interestingly enough, when pain is extreme, the body will ‘tone down’ the pain or go into a shock in order to preserve the body. The reason why this is so, is because for the body to truly feel the depth of the pain it’s in, the body would not be able to bear it and the body would die.
